| Venom Games was founded in February 2003 by former members of Rage's Newcastle Studio. Based in Newcastle UK, the studio produced the best selling "Rocky" game for Xbox and PS2. Upon becoming independent they obtained the contract to produce "Rocky: Legends" for Ubisoft, and on completion of that they became part of the Take 2 Interactive group of companies, under its 2K Games label. They expanded into their current offices in July 2005. |
