The Entertainment Art and Animation program at CSU Fullerton currently offers a full curriculum in both traditional and computer animation. The courses cover skills required for Feature and TV animation, CD game design, visual development for commercials, live action and animation, entertainment product and merchandising design. We have training partnerships with Dreamworks SKG, Walt Disney Animation and Warner Brothers Animation. We currently have students in internships and employment at our partner coroporations as well as Film Roman, Nickelodeon, Klasky Csupo. We are seeking highly motivated students who love to draw and have a passion for the entertainment business.
We place our students in all levels of media in both the entertainment, publishing, game and advertising industries. Our students pursue their careers primarily in the Southern California area but have been branching out to other areas of the country and world.
We currently have six computer training labs for the art department. Our students have workstations from the video pencil test systems, digital ink and paint and 3D animation. Our software ranges from digital imaging software to post production editing. | |
