| Throughout the past years, Cine-Clube de Avanca has garnered the attention of institutions, cultural agents and audiences. What exemplifies what is done at Cine-Clube de Avanca is its work in training, promotion, and divulgation of the different film genres (feature films, short films, documentaries and animation) of audiovisuals and multimedia. Year after year, enthusiasts and professionals of this art form from all over the world because “Avanca” summons them to share their work and their talent during days of intense discovery and to promote new innovating audiovisual techniques and leading them to technological evolution, fundamental to culture and progress. Each year, we promote several workshops directed by cinema professionals from different countries, and, at the same time, we have a selection of works with great quality that are exhibited in different sessions during 4 days and evaluated by a competent international/national jury. The aim is to assemble, in one space, professionals, students and people interested in this kind of art, so that we can bring quality cinema that otherwise wouldn’t be exhibited in Portugal. |
